TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Members of the Andretti Autosport Team were welcomed out to Travis Air Force Base, Calif., to participate in a orientation flight, Aug 25, 2011.

Orientation flights for civic leaders, professional athletes and journalists help the American public better understand the contributions of the military to our national defense.

The team took some time out to shake hands and bond with some of the Airman and to observed a routine, local training flight with an Air Force Reserve crew prior to participation at the nearby Grand Prix of Sonoma.
