The Air Force Reserve's newest Airmen are taking time to write their praises of the
Delayed Enlistment program that kicked off Sept. 10, 2011, with 42 young, future Airmen.

Travis was selected as one of five pilot bases to launch this Reserve program. On Saturdays of the A and B flight unit training assemblies, the trainees meet at the Airman Leadership School, and are lead by Flight Leader, Master Sgt. Heather Bradley, who is assigned to the 349th Air Mobility Wing equal opportunity office.

According to Bradley, the purpose of the Flight is to help the new enlistee with the transition from being civilians to Airmen, as well as prepare them better for Basic Military Training.

Flight Leader Bradley is looking for mentors for our future reservists. Officers or enlisted, all are encouraged to give an hour of their UTA Saturday to share information, teach, or train, including PT. If you have questions or concerns, or want to volunteer to mentor these trainees, please contact her at 707-424-1693, or heather.bradley@us.af.mil.
