On a recent visit to Travis, Col. Michael J. "Mike" McCully, Director of Installations and Mission Support (A7), Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Air Force Reserve Command, took the time to swear in a new captain to the 349th Air Mobility Wing.

Capt. Otha Livingston, right, was an officer in the U.S. Navy before joining the Air Force Reserve. He is an officer with the Vacaville Police Department in his civilian job, and will bring that experience to his military duty with the 349th Security Forces Squadron.

Col. McCully was making a courtesy visit from Robins AFB, Ga., to look at programs for Col. Nancy Brooks, 349th Mission Support Group commander.
