Brig. Gen. John C. Flournoy, Jr., commander of the 349th Air Mobility Wing, lead this year's Veterans Day parade through downtown Fairfield as Solano County honored veterans, Nov. 11.

The parade consisted of about 70 floats, car clubs, marching bands and equestrian units. The event began at 12:30 p.m. on Kentucky Street in downtown Fairfield.

There is also a C-17 fly-over and a POW/MIA ceremony conducted by the Travis Air Force Base Honor Guard that wowed the crowd as they showed their appreciation for those who have served in the military for our great nation.
