The egg-drop activity was part of the 349th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron's Wingman Day activities. It was the final event of the day and was done to demonstrate the value of teamwork.

Members of the 349th AMXS were split into four teams and individuals within those teams had to share ideas, and think outside the box to safe guard an egg dropped from approximately ten feet above ground. The airmen used balloons, straws, paper and rubber bands as tools.

The importance of communication was highlighted as different members built different parts of the egg-drop harness but all worked together to achieve a common goal.
