The wing is a month into 2017, and the 349th AMW recruiting team continues to enlist exemplary recruits. Today, a number of the squadron went to Will C. Wood High School, Vacaville, to swear in senior Ian Fronda. Lt. Col. Wil Link, wing performance planner, did the honors, outside in the school quad, as a large crowd of students looked on. Standing by, looking on with pride, was Fronda's mother, Lea, an employee of the Travis AFB Army Air Force Exchange. The congratulatory team included several of the recruiting flight: Chief Master Sgt. Anthony Krystoff, Master Sgt. James Muna, Technical Sgts. Lynett Leon and Manuel Salinas, and Fronda's recruiter, Staff Sgt. Rolando Lora. Fronda graduates this summer, and during that time will participate in the 349th AMW's Development & Training Flight, preparing for basic military training. He'll return to the 349th AMW after technical school, and join the 349th Security Forces Squadron. (US Air Force photos/Ellen Hatfield)
