Lt Col Daniel Noyer is the Group Commander of the 349th Mission Support Group, located at Travis Air Force Base, California. The 349th Mission Support Group is the largest associate support group in AFRC, with over 850 personnel and 6 different squadrons.
Lt Col Noyer was born in Fresno, California and enlisted in the California Army National Guard in 1993 as a UH-60 Blackhawk crew chief. He attended the Air Force ROTC program at California State University, Fresno and graduated in 2002, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration and his commission. Prior to his current assignment, Lt Col Noyer was the Deputy Commander of the 60 Maintenance Group, the Commander of the 349th Maintenance Squadron, the Deputy Group Commander of the 129th Maintenance Group at Moffett Air National Guard Base, CA and was previously the Commander of the 749th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron at Travis AFB, CA. In 2015, Lt Col Noyer deployed as the KC-10 Aircraft Maintenance Unit OIC for the 380th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron in Al Dhafra Air Base, UAE in support of Operations INHERENT RESOLVE and FREEDOM SENTINEL.
Lt Col Noyer also served for several years with the 552nd Maintenance Group in numerous aircraft maintenance officer positions for the E-3 Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) aircraft at Tinker Air Force Base, OK.
