Cano Retires

Master Sgt. Rhonda Cano closes out 25 years in the Air Force with a retirement ceremony on the Suisun City waterfront Sept. 16, 2016. She was assigned to the 349th Air Mobility Wing Recruiting Squadron, under the Western Recruiting Squadron, March Air Reserve Base, California. Cano spent most of her career as a successful recruiter, working in several areas, including officer accessions. She is credited with bringing three current chaplains into the 349th AMW – Chaplain (Maj) Matthew Ellis, Chaplain (Maj) Glenn Lundberg and Chaplain (Capt) Kemuel Bellows, who credits her directly with his decision to join the Air Force Reserve. Special guests were Cano’s family from Oklahoma, her husband and three children. She said she looks forward to spending more time with her family, and not missing school activities, and PTA meetings.
