Kandahar, Afghanistan: and SSgt Daniel Rivera, a deployed personnel from the 45th Aerial Port Squadron proved just that as he ran the first annual Kandahar marathon on March 7, under the scorching Afghan sun. The event which attracted more than 300 runners was a first for the personnel at the airfield which allowed for some fun and physical challenge for participants and volunteers alike.
