Area Fires prompt evacuations, evacuation prep

Attached is a map identifying current evacuation areas. Evacuation centers include the McBride Senior Center, Ulatis Cultural Center and the Dixon May Fair grounds. Additional evacuation centers may be established as the need arises. Areas impacted by the evacuations have been contacted via our reverse 911 system or by officers in the area going door to door.

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --

Areas of northwest Vacaville are now being evacuated. Evacuation centers are as follows:
Ulatis Community Center at 1000 Ulatis Drive and McBride Senior Center at 91 Town Square Place. Large animals can be taken to the Solano County Fairgrounds in Vallejo. Small pets can be taken to the Solano County Animal Shelter 2510 Claybank Road.

Authorities are notifying effected areas in person and through the reverse 911 system. You can receive updates through the CALFIRE website.

5. Wipe down surfaces. Especially when they’re shared.
