349th Women's History Month
TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Grandmaster Tae Yun Kim chats with Air Force reservist Lt. Col. Ruth Meyer before a martial arts demonstration and fashion show that honored the military women of Travis AFB Mar. 28. Col. Meyer, the 349th AMW chief of safety and a C-5 pilot, talked briefly about the Air Force and non-traditional careers for women in the military. Grandmaster Kim, founder of the art of Jung SuWon and her own academy of martial arts, as well as chief executive officer of Lighthouse Worldwide Solutions in Fremont, Calif., gave a motivational speech and led her group of her martial arts students and masters in a demonstration.
