Within the 601st Air Operation Center’s Air Mobility Division, Master Sgt. Renea Zachary, a U.S. Air Force Reservist deployed from the 349th Air Mobility Operations Squadron, Travis Air Force Base, Calif. and Maj. Dan Steinhiser, 601st AOC/AMD airlift control team chief, review airlift information for potential airlift operations during Hurricane Florence. TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- Members of the 349th Air Mobility Operations Squadron deployed in support of the 601st Air Operations Center at Tyndall AFB, Fla., in support of Hurricane Florence mission efforts.

Maj. Howard Thomas was already in place for support prior to the hurrican was shortly followed by Master Sgt. Renea Zachary and Tech. Sgt. Courtney Batten who arrived on September 14, 2018. The 349th AMOS team was there to augment the 601st Air Mobility Division to assist in planning, tasking, and executing airlift relief efforts.
