Chief Master Sergeant Sandra E. Santos is Command Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force Reserve Command's 349th Air Mobility Wing located at Travis Air Force Base, California. As Command Chief Master Sergeant, she is responsible for advising the commander on the health, welfare, morale and discipline of the largest Air Force Reserve Associate Wing in the nation.
Previously, Chief Santos was the the Command Chief Master Sergeant, 932 Airlift Wing, Scott Air Force Base, Ill. She has held numerous leadership positions at the Headquarter Air Mobility Command, Tactical Airlift Control Center, and unit level. She deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and 2008.
Chief Master Sergeant Santos enlisted in the United States Air Force and entered Basic Military Training, Lackland AFB, Texas in November 1981. Upon graduating basic training, she received technical training at Chanute AFB, Ill., in Aerospace Ground Equipment (AGE).
