Nexus Rising tests 349 AMW reservist’s readiness

Airmen from the 349th Aeromedical Evacuation Squadron prepare equipment in support of a simulated mission during Exercise Nexus Rising held at Travis Air Force Base, June 4, 2022. Nexus Rising is a readiness exercise designed to test the ability of the 349th Air Mobility Wing to generate, employ and sustain air operations in a simulated combat environment. Missions in Nexus Rising include air rescue, aeromedical evacuation, airlift for cargo and personnel, aerial refueling, deployment processing, aerial port operations, and command and control.
