Members of the 349th Security Forces Squadron took their own Tactical Pause Sunday afternoon during the December UTA.  After a presentation from Dr. Michael B. Slack, 349th Air Mobility Wing Director of Psychological Health and Mr. Josh Ascherman, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, Director of Higher Grounds Counseling in Chico, Calif., defenders participated in a number of team building exercises.

“The idea behind this afternoon is to give our team an opportunity to strengthen their bonds in non-traditional ways,” said the 349th SFS commander Maj. Dennis Hale. “As we approach this holiday season, I want to give our team every opportunity to connect with one another and for each one of them to realize that they matter, and their leadership is listening.”

The 349th SFS leadership team put the events together after reflecting on the current Air Force suicide rate and wanted to build upon the Resiliency Day spent during the August UTA.
