TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --

The 349th Air Mobility Wing welcomes Master Sgt. Amy C. Adams, and Tech. Sgt. Genesis F. Cole, to the 349th Development & Training Flight now located in the 349th AMW Headquarters building.

Development & Training Flight helps ease the transition of future Citizen Airmen into military life prior to reporting to Air Force Basic Military Training. The program aims to ensure that trainees understand the structure and curriculum in which they will be working in once at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. Overall, the program provides recruits with knowledge and confidence to succeed.

On a typical day, the future recruits receive presentations about the subjects they will see during basic training. A few of those topics are military dress and appearance, drug and alcohol policies, drill practice and weapons familiarization.
