349th Air Mobility Wing members big winners at ALS

TRAVIS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. --  Lt. Col. Michael Vandermeyden, 945th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, represented the 349th Air Mobility Wing at the recent Airman Leadership School graduation.

The 349th AMW really stepped up the game with our very own Senior Airman Nichole Savard, 349th Aeromedical Staging Squadron, bringing home the Levitow Award! The Levitow award is the pinnacle of achievement for Enlisted Professional Military Education in the Air Force. It is awarded to the top graduate at the Airman Leadership School. There is only one winner in each class – and Senior Airman Savard earned this award! Big congrats to her!

Also going “above and beyond” Senior Airman Eli Wilkins, 349th Maintenance Squadron, as he was named a Distinguished Graduate which is only awarded to the top 10 percent of the class.
